playing video ad in my own website is invalid click?

Hi,

I watched the video ad by clicking the play button in the adsense video ad. I did NOT visit the website itself but only watched the video! but I noticed that one click increased in my adsense. I dont know if it was my click which I did to play the video.

I just wanted to confirm that playing the video ad (but not visiting the website) on my own website is invalid click?

I read somewhere that you can play the videos... since that does not count as a click... which is a bit of a scam. Since you are basically giving a free video commercial on your site... and not getting paid unless the user visits the site right then and there.

But to answer your question, I think it is okay... perhaps others can chime in...
