Nothing but Public Service ads

Been 2 weeks

I have been 2 weeks since I added the Adsense code to my page. Yet, it still shows the same public service ads (that I make no money). I am not blocking google in my robots.txt. What could be going wrong?

I am also seeing a lot of PSA, don't know what the problem is. Page views have reduced drastically.

Ask adsense - perhaps they can help! Are you sure there are advertisers available in your sector?

I would run some searches on Google for keywords related to your topic and see if any AdWords are shown. Even if some do show up they may have opted out of content network advertising.

Definitely contact Google. In my experience they react to problems like this very promptly.

I always thought when PSAs show up, it's either because Google can't find any ads in their inventory that they think are contextually relevant to your page, or they can't for whatever reason figure out what exactly your page is about. Have you got lots of text? Did you try using the section targeting code?

are you using templates?

maybe u dident insert your pub id correctly?

if u have a dynamic site try to add at the end (for testing issue)

index.php?word=google or word=advertisment , sometime you get advertisment related to the url .

I will try contacting them (If I can get an answer.) But, I have the ads on 2 sites. One is a PHPNuke site that has special section on the top and side of all pages for ads. I get a good number of unique hits (+1000/day), I dont see why google couldnt have indexed it, there is no robots.txt or .htaccess to stop them.

Google won't serve ads to pages containing keywords that appear to be violating the AdSense Terms of Service. Even if your site as a whole is OK, if there are hateful, racist, sexual or violent keywords in your pages, you'll get PSAs.

Usually the only recourse is to remove the problem words. However, I recall one WebmasterWorld got PSAs for her site about dealing with grief, because there were lots of death-related keywords. AdSense Support was able to fix things for her.
