Ads Relevant for Some Pages Invading Pages on Other Topics

Hey Guys,

Very recently, I've noticed that I've been getting some weird ad relevancy problems. I get a lot of traffic for "A" but on my site I also have other pages about "B". For a while now, I have been seeing the "B" ads fine. However, recently, I've been noticing "A" ads show up on the "B" sites even though the "A" ads are not on the same webpage nor even linked to on the same webpage. I'm not sure if this is just something that affects how I see the page, but I'm pretty sure my CTR has been hit for the "B" sites.

Is there any way to fix this? I recently also removed a lot of competitive filter websites, i dont know if that has any affect on this.

I had the same problem. I have now resolved it, but what I did - and whether it bears any relevancy - I couldn't say. Might just be coincidence.

I went through my sites and removed a vertical link unit - and replaced it with a horizontal one. I then went through every page and clicked refresh about 10 ten times - took ages, but I did end up with the right ads.

I then emailed adsense and made them aware that I had caused a significant rise in impressions on my site - just to be on the safe side.

Earnings have been steady, and on the up since beginning of April. I have read elsewhere in here, that changing the ad format can force new ads - so could be worth a try.
