Are commercial non-content sites

I have a site that sells items on it and am wondering if this is still considered a content site. I know some would question the use of adsense on a site where I am trying to sell products, but I seem to be driving tons of search traffic that is related to my products, but not people who are actually looking to buy something and would like to test out adsense to see what happens without putting my account at risk.
Thanks

Likely the worst that would happen is you could lose a few customers. Some folks turn away from a site when they see adsense on it.

You might 1st try putting the adsense at the bottom of the screen or perhaps on the right margin.

If that position works then you'll be able to double your adsense income by moving the ads to the top (visual hotspot) - but you lose more customers.

Only you can determine the choice between the lose of customers vs the adsense income.

I'm assuming that you have some content to try and sell your customers on the idea of buying the item. If you don't have that, then I think I've found out why you aren't getting enough sales.

If you have enough content to sell the item, you have enough to put on adsense.
