Does this website comply with AdSense policies?

From the Adsense blogger I found :

We ask that publishers not line up images and ads in a way that suggests a relationship between the images and the ads. If your visitors believe that the images and the ads are directly associated, or that the advertiser is offering the exact item found in the neighboring image, they may click the ad expecting to find something that isn't actually being offered. That's not a good experience for users or advertisers.

But why some websites can do this.

I know a chap who makes a lot more than I do with adsense. I happened to mention about this ruling to him the other day and he didn't know anything about it, although he hadn't used the method anyway.

I think a lot of people make up sites with adsense and just either leave them alone, or never read forums like Webmaster World, or anything else other than their earnings everyday.

Ignorance may not always be bliss!
