Can I use FrontPage's web component included content feature to create an include on one page and then insert that include on each of my web pages where I want my AdSense ads to appear? Will the Google code be able to determine the words on each of these pages so it can deliver context appropriate ads?

I would like to be able to use FrontPage's included content feature so that when I want to modify AdSense code I can modify it in one place rather than modifying the code on each of the hundreds of pages on my site.

Any suggestions on how to reduce the code input and editing time when you have hundreds of web pages?

Yes you can do that , just write your adsense code in template you have made and then google will show up ads depending on the content in the pages you will make from those

To the AdSense bot (and to Googlebot and users, for that matter) a published page is simply a published page, and how it was put together doesn't matter.

You can use FrontPage includes or shared borders, as you prefer.

I have adsense inside shared borders and also using the FP includes and the targeting is usually right on.

With the includes, you want to make sure the page you are including does not include shared borders if you are using them.

One word of caution with includes... I usually put a comment next to any include that is pulling in adsense and I don't mix any adsense in with the page. The issue is you might forget that a particular include is bringing in adsense and put another adsense unit on that page. If you aren't careful you could violate the TOS with too many ad units on one page.

Slightly OT - you might want to plan ahead a bit as Microsoft is going to be replacing frontpage shortly with, i believe, expression web.
