Ads for Google jobs?

I'm seeing a ton of ads for google on my site today. One of them says that there are 'Google Adsense Vacancies' (hope I'm not violating TOS...) - G is hiring, and yes, the ad url (extracted w/o clicking on the ad) does take one to a Google jobs page so it's for real..

I just think it's funny (and a bit odd) to see G recruiting ads on my front page.

Anyone else seeing these kinds of ads on their sites? How widespread is this? Do you block google.com ad urls?

Hello ,

Google sometimes advertise on publishers sites and it pays money for any click , so its normal to see this!

Google is opening a couple of datacenters in SC, U.S.A soon, so maybe they need to recruit some folks.

that's cool, it just looked strange - I wondered if there was some kind of expansion going on... maybe this means they will finally expand the publishers' toolsets (adwords advertisers have all the fun stuff, it seems).

Maybe they have tagetted your site and are head hunting you ;)

Ah, yes, but I'm not supposed to click ads on my site, am I?

More likely they are taunting me!

Sometimes I wonder about that - if I run ads on my local server ('localhost') the feed webhosting and content management system ads (and sometimes recruiting ads for other companies) and similar stuff in my face - so they must be assuming that a hostname of localhost + my publisher id means that I'm hacking some kind of web stuff :D

"Google Taunts Me" - sounds like a cool story idea...
