Why am I not seeing "Advertise on this site"?

Any google policy changes?

hello,

Since yesterday, I am not seeing "Advertise on this site" link below my ad units. I am seeing only "Ads by Google" in image format.

Are you guys also experiencing the same?

Regards
Tabish

Yes, seems to have gone for now.

I suspect that a lot of our instincts were correct and that on the whole, in may of the traditional placements, "Advertise On This Site" reduces ad unit performance.

In the past hour of site browsing, I saw one ad unit with regular ads display the "advertise on this site" link. All of the other ad units with regular ads did not; however, all of the PSAs still display "advertise on this site."

From what I have seen, the old format remains on many (perhaps most or all) site-targeted text ads, but appears to have now disappeared from contextual ad blocks. In time, it will vanish into our collective memories.... ;-)

I like the new sleeker look ad blocks, and so far it looks to me like they are resulting in a higher CTR.

I don't think I ever got any advertisers to sign up through this link anyway. It would be better to build my own compelling list of pages to entice advertisers and approach them directly I think.
