How to compare traffic

Is it only my site or a common traffic drop?

I think it's an usefull typ how to compare web site traffic.

People depending on AdSense income usualy get panic when the traffic is droping.

In this situation, it's good to find out, is it only my site, or a general low traffic day.

In the German area, Webhits seems to be ideal to compare

[webhits.de...]

So I know now, my site has the same traffic drop as webhits showed for all their sites.

Today in the morning, I found even a good explanation for this.

As I waked up my doughter for scool, she told me that there are now easter holidays.

What traffic compare do You use for english websites?

I use webmasterworld.com :)

BTW, I think the site you mentioned violates AdSense ToS (forces reloading ads at the very bottom, about every minute)

Traffic is still high for fairly me however CTR is the lowest it's been since 2005

The only tool I know for comparing traffic of websites is amazon's [alexa.com...] ,
Though it's not accurate because its reports is based on its toolbar users activity on the internet, If you compare its reports with your own website's web logs it's not that inaccurate
and at least it gives you some clues.
