What is the best for adsense?

I am very new to adsense and this forum. I have a few questions.

#1 I am wondering which is the best money wise. The google search bar, or the ads?

#2 When you use adsense, can you not have any other advertisements on your site?

#3 Can I put the ads and a search bar on the same site?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You should earn a lot more from the ads than through the Google searchbox.

I would strongly urge you to read the AdSense Program Policies and the Terms & Conditions. You'll find the answers to your other questions there and you'll know what you need to know so that you don't violate any of the rules which could cause you to be terminated from the AdSense program.
