Becoming premium publisher is a game of numbers, then if your subject is fairly pupular, can you become premium publisher if you stick to just English? Or you have to translate your site in all the main languages?

It is my understanding that Premium Publisher status is not just a matter of numbers. I am aware of a number of sites that have the numbers but are not premium publishers. You do not apply for this, you are invited by Google. Perhaps someone could correct me if I am wrong on this.

I said number in the sense, google invites those sites with specific numbers of monthly page views (20 millions if I am not wrong)

You are correct in the 20 million - but just because you achieve this figure does not automatically get you an invite. I believe a while back there was a thread on here whereby a number of publishers who had achieved this figure were not invited. When they asked Google if they could become premium advertisers they were declined. So there must be other parameteres in play as well as the traffic figures.

Well I guess I asked two question within one.
1. Can 20m figure be achived with English only site or we must translate it to main languages?
2. After achieveing the required number, is there any procedure to get premium status or we still have to wait for google call?

you can only become a premium publisher when Google invites you. The best way if you qualify is if your site has a high Alexa ranking and if it also unique. If your site is ranked in the top 20,000 sites in Alexa, then you have a big chance of being invited by Google as a premium publisher.
Visit alexa.com and click Traffic and enter your website address. You will find out your ranking.
