i've noticed a nosedive in my earnings today in combination with significant low ctr and low epc caused by the appearance of cheap and untargeted ads.

maybe it can be explained by advertisers' quarterly budgets running out?

anyone?

Or maybe it's just the end of the month.

normally i don't notice such a sharp decrease at the end of the month.
maybe these two effects adding together? i don't know if quarterly budget is a common practice with advertisers.

Me too. Yesterday and today I've had pretty puny numbers by comparison.

I've have experienced a reduction of ctr and epc all week. In fact this has been one of my worst week in as long as I can remember.

One of my worst weeks as well for a long time. Roll on April and the start of the new financial year!

Had a good month. But it is true that last 3 days have been 1/3 rd of 'normal' for the month. Maybe..budgets are running out.. I am also getting poor quality ads and EPC is currently down..

The past 3 days have been the best of the entire month for me ...

I've noticed no difference on my sites over the past few days. But the idea of quarterly budgets running out seems a likely prospect. In the UK 31/03/xx is an important date for many companies because 05/04/xx is the year end. So montly, quarterly and annual budgets may be running out at the same time.

I've noticed that my sites with a predominantly-UK audience have nosedived this morning. Probably just budgets running out.

I've seen this happen in the past on my sites.

I think if we wait 3-4 days, we'll see a definite change.

I think it depends on the type of site as well. Our sites normally do worse during the holiday period and since the UK schools have just started Easter holidays, we have noticed the drop as well. Of course, the fact that it coincided with the end of the month may have an additional effect.

After a good month, the last week was abysmal ending in the lowest CTR ecpm for that traffic pattern. Additionally the reports were sent too often. Since the 31 it seems back to "normal". Usually I don't have end of month fall offs. Let's hope i was a Google SNAFU or an end of month effect.
