what if I have a friend who signs up for adsense through me but cannot make a dime.

if I take his adsense ad and put it on my site to help him make money so I can earn a referral, will that be a TOS violation?

if you can point me to a discussion or a site about this, i would really appreciate it.

This is a tricky situation so the best thing to do is to ask Google.

You're cheating google out of referrals. Your "friend" isn't earning the commissions - you are.

You don't see a problem with that?

That's the reason why I asked in the first place.

But the reason why I "think" its allowed is because there are tons of "profit sharing" sites. Those sites allow you to sign up for adsense through them, and then they rotate your ads with other member's ads.

I do not see a "great" difference in what I want to do. I am basically building my own "profit sharing" or "revenue sharing" network. Even google has a "revenue sharing" API.

Of course I would never want to do anything that violates Google's policy, but I am unsure about this particular situation.

Perhaps asking the big G would be the only way to know for sure.

Thank you for all input.

As has been pointed out, you should ask Google for the final decision. Without prior approval, it's going to look dodgy to them.

Look at it from their perspective: Site B signs up through site A, so A gets the referral. Site B's code is on Site A. Definitely look suspicious.

How about make link exchange from our blog to our referral friends?

Does it accept or not? allow or not?

No offence, but I find this question ridiculous. Of course this won't be acceptable. If they allowed this - surely everyon ecould get people to sign up - then put their code on their pages to get the min for the referral then take it off - add another and so on. This to me screams of fraud. The idea is for Google to get more legit sites. You get the money once that site has earned the $100 - otherwise it is pointless for adsense.

Breach in TOS - for sure.

Resultant Ban - For sure.
