Mediabot behavior and PSA's: Do infrequently pages get treated fairly?

Does Mediabot have to visit a page often? Do visitors?

I'm trying to better determine the behavior of mediabot.

Scenario 1:

Say you put adsense on:
[domain.com...]
and you visit the page on 1/1/04. Then Mediabot visits 10 minutes later. Then it gets visited once a month for 6 months. Will Mediabot come back to refresh what they believe the page is about? Will they use the data from a regular googlebot crawl? (This should actually be testable if someone bans one of the bots and not the other, changes data on a page, etc..)

Scenario 2:

Say you put adsense on:
[domain.com...]
and you visit the page on 1/1/04. Then Mediabot visits 10 minutes later. Then no one visits again for 6 months or 1 year. It is an inner page (of which you have many). Then after all that time someone visits. Will Adsense display an ad based on the 1/1/04 visit? Will there be a PSA? And will Mediabot revisit the page? Or determine that the page is low traffic and not worth the cycles to bother with?

I haven't tested this out, but my impression is that infrequently visited pages get short shrift (PSA's. Ignored).

Also, how are PSA's counted in the stats? An impression if it's PSA? If you have an alt ad, it doesn't count?

Clark, I can't say anything definitive about the questions in your first post so I'm skipping that one.

An ad unit with PSAs count as an impression. An ad unit with an AA counts as an impression. An Ad unit with AdWords ads count as an impression.
