This seems very simple, but I can't figure it out.

A Flash ad which is only in the most obscure way related to my content (it would takes massive leap of imagingation to see the connection - it took me a while!) is appearing all over a site. It is not, to say the least, having a positive effect on income.

Because it's Flash I am not able to get any information about where it is linking to so that I can block the stupid thing.

How, without clicking it, can I do this?

you can change the ad type from "text_image" to just "text", of course this will stop all video and image ads....if you have the popular click tracking software, you can use its bugs to your advantage, right click over the ad, check your click stats and you have the landing url, which of course i realize probaly wont work with a flash ad. probaly adsense support is the best bet

Ditto.

Irrelevant, and in some cases inappropriate. I was very disappointed to see lingerie on my children's site. Fortunately the URL was actually in the ad on that one...

But these totally off-topic ads are frustrating. Text ads are right on on the site; video and flash ads are as off as they could be.

I eventually guessed what the URL might be, and sure enough there was an obvious continuation of the ad at the site when I dug around a little - the ad metioned a competition. Blocked it, and clicks and earnings are now right back to normal.

I don't want to block Flash ads altogether, I had one a while back that was really relevant and did very well.
