Amazon new context links

I wonder if I can use that together with AdSense?

Hey Guys.

Amazon has a new beta program - Content Links -

Context Links are a quick and convenient way to add links to your website and monetize your content. Context Links automatically identify and link relevant phrases within your page content to Amazon products, unlocking new ad inventory and saving you the time from having to manually create links. You can add the links to your pages in minutes, and we provide a wealth of options to customize how they are displayed.

It's quite interesting. Do you think it's allowed to use that alongside AdSense? It's not similiar to AdSense, but it is contextual.

Ron.

Was there ever an answer to this? Because, I'm starting to play with these (on a few of my non-Adsense sites) and I'm curious if these and Adsense can coexist.

Although, if I was a betting man, I'd guess G is going to say no, because of the "C" word (Contextual).

Well apparently Goodle says yes about Kontera and this seems to be a similar advertising system (keywords in page being linked to advertisers sites).

What, a post about a new product from amazon that might be in contravention of Adsense in the Adsense forum, and no Google rep to give a definitive answer? Where should we ask then then, on Matt Cutts' blog?

Here is an update, as Adsense reps here find this too unimportant to reply to. Jensense says you can run them as long as they don't mimic Adsense. They don't.

Normally one would expect an authoritative answer to such a question on WW. Guess G doesn't like clarifying things.

If you want a definitive answer, why not use the official information channel--namely, AdSense Support?

Any updates on this?

G repied to anyone's query?

EFV, sure I can mail them, and will do so too. Just a bit amused by the fact that there were times in the last few years when Googleguy and adsense reps on WW made much of the fact that WW was very important to them, and they will really try to answer such questions here. Maybe they don't visit here anymore?
