Earning increased too.

My page impressions is decreased since Feb because some of my sites lost their ranks at that time. My earning is down to almost 50%. But at March 20, the eCPM of my account increased 40% and at March 21, it increased 60%. Impr, Clicks, CTR are at normal level. Why this happened? How can I find the reason?

ok, so that's where my money went.
Don't worry, it will pass.

Possibe reasons:
- You got de-smartpriced
- You got new advertiser(s) in your topic(s)
- Someone at Google really messed up and mistaken your site for quality ;-)
- MFA(s) targeting you or your topics gave up
- Moon phases..

An advertiser may have site-targeted you with CPM ads.

My epcm is also on roller coaster since 2nd week of Feb.

I tweaked my filter and it works. does anyone know a software that can display/create a list of advertiser so I can find MFA easily.

I have one site in a niche where new advertisers quite often appear, burn though a silly amount of money in a short time and then disappear, never to be seen again.

It has a very, very pleasant effect on EPC for as long as it lasts, which is never very long. I just enjoy it while it does.

I didn't want to say anything thinking it might jinx me, but mine too has gone up considerably. There are so many factors, that I think it is impossible to say exactly what it is.

some of my sites lost their ranks at that time

Do you mean sites are not at the top for short keywords search?
Maybe your visitors are now "long tail selected visitors", and instead of getting "widget" visitors you are getting "buy red big widget", etc. Just a thought.

What goes up, also goes down. Just enjoy it while it lasts. :)

In my experience, you can't really figure out why these changes happen.

"An advertiser may have site-targeted you with CPM ads. "

how can someone do that?

if you are on Adwords that is, how can you target a specific site? do you have to know the exact URL of the site, or do you just target a specific product site in general, and yours falls into it?

-furthermore, if you target a certain site, will you get paid based on CPM alone, or on clicks too or on both?

Finally a me too.

CPM up for 1st time in 9 months of continual erosion.

Up nearly 50% since last week of March.

Every day is consistent.

One site in my block list.

No CPM ads (they can't afford it)

Only change I made was to get rid of Adlinks 6 weeks ago and I removed about 10 percent of my small pages from G index. Also removed several 2nd ad blocks so only one ad block on pages showing adsense.

20% rise in cpm from retirement (again).

Last few weeks have been stellar for me, too. I know it can't last (but I hope it does!)
