The postman just delivered a nice little present from the Google Adsense team today.

A little green notebook full of tips on how to increase my Adsense income. The cover says:

I thought it was pretty cool :)

Nothing that I didn't already know from reading here and at google.

I'm in Nevada. Mail usually only takes 1-2 days to arrive from California.

Hi! I have just recieved a little book labled Tweak your way to profitability. It talks about waits to boost your clickthrough rate and tips, and tools. Has anyone else gotten this? Or is it just me? I have received it about a week after I got my first check.

Why doesn't Google love me and send me presents? On an annual basis I'm earning enough money from them (and for them) that it's changed a lot of aspects of my life yet no thumb drive, no Christmas card, no little green book from Google. What's a guy have to do to get some attention?

I'm afraid for me any talk of optimising AdSense is synonymous with optimising for the "invalid clicks" mail, but I'd still appreciate the info as I'm sure lots of others will too. Thanks everyone,

basic stuff which is AdSense 101 I would have imagined:

*change your positioning every now and again to see which gets best CTR, mainly near top

*same with colours

*same with ad size formats

*put on pages with good content

I really don't think there would be anything beyond what was discussed on this forum to death by last summer....ie. within weeks of AS launch.

We got a booklet too. Does that we are doing a good job or does google think we can improve? I know we make $300-600.00 amonth from Adsense.

Well, just yesterday a got a small "package" from google. It was a little green booklet with all kinds of adsense tips.

I am just curiouse if everyone else got these or if they are only sending them out to certain people...

Who would hav ethoguht I would recive free "presents" from google...LOL.

I think everyone is getting one or at least a significant portion. Most of the stuff has been covered in this forum and if you did not get one yet don't sweat it the information is in the link posted above.

I haven't received one of these tweaking tips books, although it takes mail longer to get to me.

I wonder if there is a criteria for receiving one. Did people below a certain CTR or monthly earnings amount get one, in order to get those publishers to boost their earnings (along with Google's)?

As I am sure many of you also recieved, I got a little plastic Google Book today with tips and tricks for adsense.

Could they not find something better to spend their money on, like maybe hiring someone to be in charge of direct deposits?

All these "tips" in the book are total common sense, like "if you are using adsense on a framed page, make sure you click the framed page box......."

Mine is Green, what color is yours?
