Rotating your ad colors

does it help CTR?

I just discovered that you can rotate the colors of the ad's...

Has anyone tried it, and noticed an increase in click through rate by doing this?

I've never really heard anyone talk about it.

I suppose why it could help, is because it keeps things "fresh".

I have tried it and I find that it actually reduces the CTR.

I blend the adverts into my site so I think the change of color made them more noticable and therefore avoided.
