AOL and AIM Mail

Are they not the same? Google doesn't know? Or I don't know?

I am using AOL email in my Adsense account. I emailed Adsense last week asking about my check. I receive a reply today saying that I have to resend my request using the email associated with the account which is aol.

I login to my aol email but when I send, it is sending as a myemail@aim.com instead of myemail@aol.com?

Are they not of the same and Adsense Support doesn't know that?
Or why is it going as a AIM.com not AOL.com?

I just need to know about this.

In IT when there is a change in characters (even a dot) its already totally different.

It's obviously different but when I login to my myemail.aol.com it is redirecting to myemail.aim.com. So they might be the same.

I need your help. Is AOL and AIM the same?

Your problem is with AOL, not Google. AOL has changed your email address without informing you.

It is not the same email address, they are just forwarding your old email to your new one.

You need to talk to AOL about your email issue. If you can't send email from aol.com any more, then you need to explain that to Google. There's not too much anyone here can do about either of these things.

I never said that AOL and AIM are different. What I am saying is email@aol.com and email@aim.com are different.

Review my post.

You might be good in IT but you don't get my question about my email problem. And Jomaxx and BigDave answered it right or their answers were more satisfying to me.

While I appreciate your comment, Gian04 had it right from the start, but you rejected it. But since you were confused, we tried to clarify it for you. Just because you did not understand the answer is no reason to be rude to Gian04.
