Adsense in flash format on my site - not video ads

I don't recall opting into animated image adverts

I'm seeing both 720*90 leaderboards and square/rectangle adverts in animated flash format all over my site. They're not "video ads" as there's no click to start, volume control etc, but they loop through their animation a handful of times then stop.

As far as I can see, this format isn't listed in the ad-format section within the Adsense site, and I don't recall opting into it.

Are others seeing adverts in this format? Is there anyway I can divine if they're CPM or EPC adverts?

ahh just found an old thread on it -- [webmasterworld.com...] -- seems they're old hat.
