"Ads by Google" was replaced by "Ads by [G]", where [G] is the portion of the Google logo. Just the "G" from Google.

Actually it's called testing. How will google know what effect the logo change has unless they test live?

I noticed it this week also, and actually I thought it looked very professional, certainly much better than goooooogle.

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing. I agree with ronmcd, it looks more professional. Almost like a favicon.ico.

They seem to be testing a few different ones and have been for a while now.

I've seen this off and on, but as long as the money keeps rolling in, I'm a willing guinea pig ;)

And now all Adsense sites are slowed by yet another image download. I turned off images for several reasons, one was web site performance. But now Google is stepping in and degrading performance (again) without a webmasters foreknowledge.

Faster connections to internet lead to slower web page load time, amazing. Web sites are just getting slower and slower and sssslllloooowwwweeerrr.

Just like the text above, it's annoying.

Annoying means less earnings, not more! (Well maybe not, visitors will be in such a rush to leave your site they'll click on an Adsense Ad just to get away!) Of course smart pricing will get you then.

The 'G' doesn't look right. Cheesy/tacky/lame/contrived. The cart is a bit goofy-looking, too.

Saw ad titles in italics once today. Google is digging deep, lol!

Wish they'd work on the important Adsense issues before playing with this geeky stuff.

The G logo looks tacky to me, I don't want to see them at all. I spotted another one of my ads in italics as well.

Google: If it aint broke, don't fix it.
