AdSense For Adult Sites?

Why Not?

from my two experiences with building adult sites i conclude that the traffic is INSANE. really. not quality, perhaps, but very heavy.

over 50,000 unique visitors streamed into one of my adult site experiments (which basically had just a bunch of links to galleries) in just days. obviously i couldn't put adsense on it. lots of revenue lost. so much traffic, but so little opportunity to make money...

now, the reason why google won't allow "adult" sites is pretty obvious. but why can't they have an alternative service based on the same tech but called something differently?

can somebody explain this to me?

ONLY Google can explain it, anything else is pure guesswork, nothing more than worthless conjecture.

Maybe because they don't want to get into that business?

They already have their hands full running AdSense as it is and they don't want to get involved in an area that is notorious for unethical behavior?

It seems like a great opportunity for you to start your new ad network.

It is also not realistic for you to expect Google to implement every crazy idea that pops into your head. If you want someone to try to implement your ideas, it is up to you.

If you see big money in a niche not currently served, you would be crazy not to get a business loan and go for it. You know what they say, put your money (or bank's money) where your mouth is.
