Why must we guess?

Can't Google specify payout date?

It's just occured to me that other companies I deal with pay out on a specific date and I'm wondering why Google - since they are the masters of the universe after all - can't just specify a date in advance for payouts.

Either say it will be the 4th Thursday of the month or a specific date every month, like the 27th or whatever.

Other companies have no problem issuing monthly payments on a regular schedule, why can't the high and mighty Google do the same?

Just wondering...

Hmmmm....I guess you haven't dealt with large companies that take 60-90 days (or more) to pay, or with book publishers whose royalty statements and payments are issued with Salvador Dali clockwork. :-)

I agree, Google is refreshingly prompt and predictable. I'll take a 2-3 day window over the 30-90 day window I usually get with private advertisers.

They do.

Go to your My Account -> Payment History page

Scroll down to the bottom. See that little green box on the last day of the month in the second calendar? That is the day they say that they will post the PIP.

See those squares in the third calendar? Those are they dates when you should receive your payment.

Would you prefer that they stuck to these dates, instead of paying you early? Is there any reason that you want them to delay your payment a couple of weeks just to be consistent? I kinda like the early payment myself.

There is some big mess going on with my cheque first citi bank refused to pay because I forgot to sign back of the cheque (but they paid me last 20+ months w/o sign). Ok fine...next my bank said cheque is mail to my home address and I need to redeposit cheque.

It has been 3 week (since 7feb) and I’ve not received my cheque at home. Local Courier Company lost my cheque somewhere. And I don’t know what I need to do now! I will wait till Monday or I will write back to google and ask them to give me new cheque.
