Quick question: Is the aggregate data for adsense reporting - everything all together, including the basic google ads, and the channel google ads? Or are channel ads reported completely separately? (ie. if I have $100 showing in aggregate data for all time, and $20 showing in channels all time, is my total $120 owing, or $100?

thanks

Reporting of revenues by channel lags behind the reporting of aggregate revenues. Your aggregate revenues give you the best idea of your "earnings to date". Your best use of the channel data is to figure out which segments of your site, or which ad formats or positions, are resulting in the best revenues.

To be specific, you won't find the two most recent days reported in the channels, but they are included in the aggregate data.

so then, I'm wondering..... Are all my clicks - up to date in the aggregate data? Ie. does it include all my impressions/payouts right up to date? (and then the channels tell me where it all came from 2 days later?) Do I have the right understanding?

To answer the question from your first post, the answer is $100. Channel data is a subset of aggregate data.

No, no, vague question, no. Google states that reporting of aggregrate data can be delayed up to 24 hours, but in fact it can be delayed more than 48 hours. That means if I'm looking at Monday's aggregate data it may not fully reflect the final stats until more than 48 hours after the end of Monday. However, aggregate stats for a day generally start appearing a half dozen or so hours into the day (in my experience) and are generally about 95% complete within 4-6 hours of the end of that day (in my experience).

The channel stats are delayed 48 hours before any channel stats appear. I don't monitor my channel stats as frequently so I don't know whether it takes longer for them to be fully reflected.

Is it clearer now? Or did I confuse you even more?
