Are robots and spiders giving artificially increased ad impressions?

I don't know a way to test this, but I'm hoping somebody would be able to tell me if Google serves AdSense ads to the robots and spiders that crawl across our page.

And if so, would a significant number of robots or spiders be able to read the javascript, and then construct the iframe that loads the ads?

Thanks

Currently, almost no robots or spiders execute the javascript, so they are not counted in the impressions.

That's great to know, and supports what I thought.

Thank you.
