Long delays in Ads Appearing

My stats seemed to be behaving very erratically today. Lots of clicks without any impressions, then lots of impressions without any clicks.

When I checked my site, it seems that there is a long delay (5 to 10 seconds at least) before any AdSense is displayed on each page. Is anyone else seeing this, or does my site/account have a problem?

I'm seeing some delay in the first ads appearing; I'm in Pennsylvania in the US. My server is deep in the heart of Texas.

*A l s o* I'm getting context-INsensitive Google ads--which make nobody any money. My site is specific to a medical syndrome for which everyone has a cure, so it's not hard to fill a tower of Google ads with context specific ads.

I thought--and Google has us doing this--that there was something that I was doing wrong. However, if I poke around my site, hitting all the navigation links in a variety of ways, *most* pages start having context-sensitive Google ads. The exception is my front page, and the "about" page. The ads that do show are irrelevant; nobody who came to my page on a search would leave it via a Google ad.

Part of the uncertainties of this kind of income stream.

Definate slow down in the UK. Bad news when its a busy forum as it takes AGES to load now. Yesterday had similar problems to most with no ads loaded - today its just plain snails pace. If it continues I too will have to drop adsense.

And now its speeded up again. Rumour has it that the Adsense server is powered by two rather unfit hamsters......

Needs sorting out Google!

Having problems here in South Africa too. For the last 3-4 days incredibly slow accessing my Adsense account.. gets half way through loading login page then says 'done'.

Ads seem to be loading kinda acceptably fast though, thank goodness.
