Is This Still Against TOS?

Hi,

Just wondering if the transferring of adsense accounts to someone else (who has taken over a website) is still against TOS? I seem to remember it being listed but can't seem to find it in the Terms & Conditions now.

Can anyone point me to the specific place I can find this mention, if it still exists?

Or can you confirm this for me Adsense Advisor?

Thanks.

No need to do this at all. Have them make their own account, then use global find & replace and change the account number in the actually adsense ad units.

99% sure that accounts are non-transferable. Accounts are personally held - so if you sell a site with adsense on it it is necessary for the new owner to replace existing ads with his own. Personally - in order to avoid any future problems I would remove all ads prior to passing over the site - It would be horrible to get a ban based on someones elses content or activity on a site.

Would be the best if you email Adsense support.
