Starting a couple of weeks ago, I started noticing Blocked URLs in my Site Diagnostics for domains I don't even own! For example, stuff that looks like this:
http:/ / www. excite. co. jp/ world/ english/ web/ body/? wb_url= http:/ / www. example. com/

Anybody else experiencing this?

Never seen that. However, it simply looks like Excite has a translation service and someone's reading your site in Japanese. :)

Thanks barns101

What's weird is that the reason AdSense Site Diagnostics is giving for all the blocked URLs in the reports is "Robots.txt File"

However, I have no blocks on my robots.txt files for Google. In fact, after seeing the reports I went ahead and added the allow code too, but the reports continue!

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google*
Disallow:

Google Site Diagnostics says, "If our crawler finds any issues with your pages, they'll be listed in the table below. We encourage you to resolve these issues in order to allow us to crawl more of your pages and provide relevant ads."

How can I "resolve these issues" if I don't own the domains!?!

Thanks

Yes, I have one. The URL is [google.com...] and it's because of Robot.txt file according to the diagnostic report. I really don't know what this means. It's funny. Anyone else seeing google.com in your blocked URL's?

They seem to have some reporting problems with the cache files from various search engines showing up in the diagnostic reports from time to time.

Exactly. There was another thread [webmasterworld.com] recently about seeing Google in the "Site Diagnostics" section as a blocked URL. It's a bug at Google's end and nothing to worry about. Your site is not blocking Mediabot. :)
