EFT payment, foreign bank account

Would this be possible?

If I open an account with Citibank in the US, would google support EFT payments to it even though I'm registered in another country then the US?

They didn't reply yet. I figured they probably won't reply till next week. Was hoping someone on WebmasterWorld had some experience with that here.

I have been struggling with this problem for two years.

I live in a country that has exchange controls which means I can not deposit a US$ cheque.

Every month AS faithfully sends by courier my cheque which I then have to courier back to Miami to deposit in my US bank account.

What a waste of money & time!

It is obvious, for tax purposes, that I live in a foreign country. All they have to do is look at my sites or ask me for utility bills or a copy of my resident's visa.

Google, please give this some attention. A simple EFT payment to Miami would save both of us a lot of money. I have no problem with PayPal depositing to my US bank.

If I open an account with Citibank in the US

US banks in my experience are rather uncooperative to open a US bank account if you don't live there (permanently). The easiest way around it is to own a company over there, at which point the company has an address and can hold an adsense account with a US address and then it would be a non-issue.
[Don't forget to cancel your other adsense account (you cannot have multiple adsense accounts)]
