click rates for adsense ads

hi,

i was wondering what sort of % of your traffic would click on your adsense ads?
Is it over 1%?

No one is supposed to reveal this, under the AdSense TOS. But I have seen numbers tossed around ranging from under 1% to approaching 10%.

As a rule of thumb, you get a higher CTR from sites with no advertising other than AdSense, and sites with highly targeted content and thus highly targeted ads.

There's no telling what results you will get until you try....

no, its comparing apples to apples. if you have a forum website, 2% CTR would kick booty. If you have a one page article where the only thing to click besides text is an ad, then 10% blows goats.

If I had CTR of 10% I will be very rich in three months. Something like ****xxx,xx each month.... but very below of 1% is nice to me btw...

Some of our channels are double digits in CTR but some of our other channels has a very low CTR such as our sites relating to South America with Spanish content.
