I am trying to create channels for specific pages to my site... however, I get an error message to say that most are longer than 30?

As my site name and after the .com my description before the.html is also three words... how do I set page channels? what part of the URL (name-name-name.com/name-name-name.html) can omit to make it fit and make it work?

Thanks - Merry Christmas - Ho Ho Ho

Is this a new limit?

I've certainly had URL channels that are more than 30 characters in the past, but currently I need to limit them to cover directories rather than individual pages, so they are now shorter.

A useful tip is to open the target page in your browser, copy the URL then paste it into your URL channel list. This make sure you avoid any typos.

Are you sure you have correctly picked the difference between Custom Channels and URL Channels?
URL Channels are created for a specific URL (and subpages)
Custom Channels have a free-form text string. I haven't tried it, but they probably do have a maximum length.
Custom Channels are the default on the creation page. Search on the creation page for 'URL channels' :)

Slap my forehead! If only I would learn to slow down. Yes found I needed to add URL NOT Channels - should pop the cork back into the bottle before take on these tasks. Thanks!
