i think you are but some people dont like these kind of posts cos they think they might smell a rat. the way i figure it out is that if your website has content which is related to adverts which are advertising something of value then you will receive a higher cost per click. ie a website discussing electronics may see you get adverts which advertise TVs or games consoles. You can find out what Adwords folk are paying for their clicks at

[adwords.google.co.uk...]

however dont think you can just create a crap site on insurance get insurance ads and then get $15 for each click. it doesnt work that way or else everyone would be rich. i recommend that you create a website with an interest you have in mind and not on a high paying niche.

Rest assured, that is certainly the best advice anyone will ever give you on this topic

Exactly, the web started out with tech sites, and there are now many strongly rooted, respected sites in this niche.

You are better off targeting non tech surfers, that are either:

- looking to buy X
- learning how to make X
- want to travel to X

these are the visitors looking to spend their money, and that is exactly what the advertisers want to spend their money on.

T thnk its bst to mk a site abt

VTagra
STalis

MsthomelTa

Those are real BIG earners with adsense!

I've heard that people with sites about TOILETS make a crapload of money.

That last one didn't come from me.

OK, it's friday night, and I had some wine again.

Highest paying niches are obviously:

- parrots toenail polish remover brush cleaners clothing
- under water basket weaving cable
- kitty litter reservoir

Please extend them further.
