Well, they make it more complicated by stretching it out over three months. Of course, they keep the money becuase they earn crazy interest on that 8 gazillion dollars in payouts but that's cool.

Also, they say, "if your balance reaches $100 in November we will send out a payment at the end of December." But that is misleading since according to the chart just below it says you should expect your payment by the 25th of January.

I understand it but I can see how it confuses people.

I never knew there were 35 days in a month. The boxes on the bottom of the "Earnings and Payments Summary" page show 7 horizontal squares, and 5 vertical squares.

That equals 35 days!

The new page looks cluttered and messy to me. There's probably a happier medium somewhere between the old page and this new page.

This new payment screen is a upgrade for 1 reason alone.

When invalid clicks as subtracted from your account, the old payment screen did not mention anything to do with the finalised payment... therefor you had to calculate this manualy.

Now that they've introduced the new column. Monthly Balance, this resolves that issue.

Earnings no longer get overwritten by the Debits.

I'm glad they made this update as it now shows clearly 3 elements, Earnings, Debits (invalid clicks), Balance.

I think there is possible some confusion in that the page indicates only the "latest" expected payment date (e.g. for EFT the 5th of the 2nd month after the earnings are accumulated) without showing either the "payment in progress" date or the earliest actual payment date.

The sequence of events as indicated is:
1 Accumulate earnings for month 1
2 [Don't]set a hold on payment for month 1
3 Payment details are posted for month 1
4 Receive payment for month 1

In reality what I see is:
1 Accumulate earnings for month 1 (to last day on month 1)
2 Total earnings for month 1 posted on Payment Page (during first week in month 2)
2 [Don't]set a hold on payment for month 1 (15th day of month 2)
3 "Payment in Progress" for month 1 posted on Payment Page (about 23rd day of month 2) - Is Google saying this cooul be as leate as the last day on Month 2?
4 Receipt of [EFT] payment for month 1 (about 25th day of month 2) I understand that if I haven't received my EFT payment in may bank by 5th of month 3, then something has gone wrong.

Confusion may arise when newbies see PIP threads talking about payments for month 2 when, according to the published dates, some people may still not have received their cheques for month 1.

When I saw the new page, I assumed they were making a point of stating not to expect November's earnings (for example) before the 31st of December.

YES however it did not take into account any previous earnings and give a total... this new payment screen does.

This page is so much better, what you get is alot easier view on the whole system... people are so simple minded over something far more complicated than explained in the old page.

I agree the last presentation for this was better in writing than it explained in picture (too complicated for 3 calanders).

They should show them better if they are going to use calanders! (lame)

Heh, to get the actual detailed calculation you still have to click on details and the same box we had all along comes up. :)

Ann incorrect, the detailed explaination is infact on the page .. it shows the monthly earnings you don't see carried over on the old page ( even clicking on earnings) ;)

I agree with others - the new layout is a mess. What we had before was fine and wasn't exactly rocket science to understand.

The graphs at the bottom of the page are a bit too visual for me (I go blank when I look at an Ikea instruction sheet), but some people will find them helpful, so I'm not complaining.

I can't get worked up either way, since I hardly ever view my payment history. (I just watch for the monthly EFT to show up in my bank account.)

well i hope that ADSENSE ADVISOR is reading this because i see 17 out of 20 publishers making NEGATIVE comments about this change which works out at 85 % who don't like it ( so far )
