how do you block them?

Hi,

Hope I'm not imposing I need someone to answer a question for me..

1) My website sometimes gets ads that have nothing to do with the content on my site. Is there a way to block such ads?

You can use the Competitive Ad Filter to block urls of sites who ads you don't like. Asfar as I know you can't block an ad directly.

Yes, the competitive ad filter, also see if any keywords in your site warrant those ads, that could be it, finally see simmilar sites to yours carrying AdSense, and check if your niche has enough advertisers, it could be lack of advertisers for your topic too.
