Referring MySpace visitors to my website.

Any problems adding a link to my MySpace page?

Hi - I run a fan site for a musician with a large teen following. I also have a MySpace page with a couple thousand "friends" who are fans of this musician. My website name and address have always been prominently featured on my MySpace page, but it's never been a clickable link. I guess I've always been concerned that a flood of traffic directly form MySpace would raise red flags at Google... Am I being paranoid?

And before someone assumes it... NO, I won't be spamming my MySpace friends' comments or inboxes with links to my website... just a clearly marked link in my profile for people to follow if they wish.

What do y'all think?

Adsense copes quite happily (as do I!) if I get linked to from Digg, StumbleUpon, etc. Floods of traffic are an internet norm - I wouldn't worry about this at all.

There could be risks and one never knows how Google will react. I'd give it a try and see how it goes.
