Hey everone,

Usually on my home page I don't use Adsense because it does not perform, however in the category pages where I post news stories, do you try using adsense between the teasers? How well does it work?

Thank you.

Don't try and trick your visitors, they may spot this and leave, or maybe they'll see the advertisers page and say this is not the page, and click back, resulting in smartpricing..

Smartpricing is bad if your site is too good and your advertiser pages are crap lol.

Greedy you have a very good point there, but how come I have seen very serious scientific sites doing it? I mean a very large science related media doing it?

Thank you.

We're not all professionals but don't ever trick your visitors. remember if you let them be aware of the "sponsored links" / "advertisements" above their ads you have captured your respect from your visitors as they will see it as non-desperate and may visit them out of curiosity anyway, you don't want accidental clicks it will play bad and trigger smartpricing, ive increased my revenue 2 folds and soon to be 3 fold in the last days by making my ads more clear to my visitors as "sponsored links".

The result : My ecpm, ctr, and value increased... nothing decreased.

Regards.
