Got a message in my account today that said....

-----------
There was a technical error with this deposit. We were unable to fund your account.

What to do next:

1. This bank account is no longer eligible for EFT payments. If you would like to receive AdSense payments by EFT, please enter and verify another bank account.

2. Alternatively, you may choose a different form of payment.
-----------

Has anyone ever seen this before? I contacted support to see what I need to do.....

Now I wonder how much longer it will take to get this payment...

What do you think they will say? The strange thing is we have received several payments before into that account without problems.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

You don't mention contacting your bank, what do they say? Is it a US bank? Is it local to you? Is there anything unusual about your account?

U.S. Bank.....nothing unusualy. Have received several payments in the past. Talked to the bank and they say there are no problems on their end. It was a larger payment than normal this time.

I did just get a new fed tax id number last week and had not reported it to Adsense or the bank yet..... but my bank said this shouldn't have been an issue....

There's an upper limit on EFT transfers, or at least there used to be. Somewhere around $60K, I think?

I wondered about there being a limit.....anyone know for sure what it is?

If this ends up they have to mail me a check...wonder how long it will take them? Are these regular bank checks or some kind of certified check. I imagine if they are large enough the banks will put a hold on the funds till it clears....could take several days...

Just got a response from Adsense....
------
...You should expect your check around the end of December. Checks delivered by secured express delivery will be mailed to you via DHL and should arrive within 5 days of the approval date.....
------

Now I'm real confused.... Payment was already authorised and they attemped to send the EFT but it failed for some reason which they didn't say .......we have never had a problem with EFT to that account before from them.

Now why are they saying end of December? That doesn't make sense...."We screwed up your EFT so now you have to wait another month to get paid...."

Anyone here ever had this problem before?

What I need is a phone number for Adsense....

Maybe if we establish the limit it would help. I've had EFT for $40K. So if yours is less than this figure I would have thought it was OK.

heyday is suffering from the stress of dealing with the typical Google employees who just fire off automated emails everytime someone asks a question.

i feel for you heyday as i have suffered this before, try not to stress out and keep firing off the emails and hope that one of them finds its way to one of the few people in there who actually care to correct their mistakes!

good luck
