is using the websearch and lets say a tower on the same page against the terms of use?

I'm new to this board and to adsense, and I wasn't sure, since from reading the board here, many were saying that 2 ad units were against the rules.
thx,

No can do:

3. Can I display more than one set of Google ads on a web page?
Only one ad unit may be placed on any web page, regardless of its layout, color, or ad type selection. Our Terms and Conditions state that multiple ad units may be displayed on each Web site page, but no ad unit can contain any advertisement in common with any other ad unit. Currently, there is no mechanism in place to ensure that duplicate advertisements will not be served to a second ad unit – consequently, only one ad unit may be placed on any web page at this time.

Do not think the search and ads on the same page are a problem. The example used is for different types of ad formats. Websearch is not an ad format.

Same one Kodiak...don't think the google websens search is a problem...as it is not a type of ad format. In reading the terms when it was first released do not remember seeing anything about it not being displayed on same pages as adsense.

StatiX, it's fine to use websearch and an ad unit (eg. Tower) on the same page.

The websearch is just a search box, doesn't show any ads on your page at all, the ads are shown on the search results which are hosted by Google.
