Content and ads

hi all
How important is the content to google.Will they put ads in pages with less content(>300words).Because I have site which offers some javascripts and all,in which the actual content is in the main page and in the link pages there is just codes to use.but fearing that googl wont put ads in it,I have deliberately put some texts in it which is not necessary(but related to the service provided in that page) for that particular page.
I am asking this because i had a blog only with photos of all my school,college friends and not a single word in it other than my profile.But still google put some ads in it.after some days fearing something wrong abt that site without content.., I stopped that photoblog.
any help with above matter please!

If the scripts were written by you then no problem. If not then big problem! Text will help target the ads.

Sounds like your goal is to build a site for adsense purposes: that's forbidden by the ToS.

If you have a site offering scripts for others to use, writing up instructions should be needed for the site's visitors, not for adsense targeting. Similarly: a photo blog can use some captions to go with the picture for the visitors but giving up because adsense didn't work out is a sign or the motives you have.

get off your butt and type in a paragraph about the scripts. If you already have a paragraph on the main page then reword and add a little more detail.

Nobody likes a made for adsense site. Even me!

tks sailor for advise.i wasa thinking abt copying the entire homepage content to other pages.But got advice from trannack its a no for adsense.that site wasnt made for adsense.The site was made for my friends who use those scripts and wen i got good traffic thoght of putting some ads.
