I personally don't use the referrals - but I would imagine that you won't get anything until your "friend" has received his first adsense check - therefore confirming that Google is indeed happy with his account, and that no fraudulent activity is going on.

I would add that for someone opening their first adsense account $100 in 15 days is either very good going - or has involved some fraudulent activity - make sure your friend has stayed well within the TOS - especially if your account can in any way be linked to his/her - or you could both face a ban for life.

I'm not saying that $100 is an excessive amount of money for adsense - it is just normal for it to take longer than 15 days to get to this point.

Sticky me your site - I'll have a look - sounds like you might be in breach of TOS possibly. 80% CTR is really unusually high for a prolonged period.

hi trannack i am so exited i am getting the answers quickly.
i didnt say 80% ctr,..but there is a 80 percent chance people may click the ads.because the content and ads match so perfectly.then two reasons i cant mail u my site
1)i feel i am alone in this world and all around me are google guys.they will find some fault and ban me(as i know from different forums)
2)my site is a very childish site made by a beginner(thats me).its like inviting some aristrocat to your house whis not arranged properly and dirty underwears and clothes are all shattered around.i will make it look good and send it to u soon.

can u please tell me wats the best ctr of my site.i have a 300 traffic a day and increasing.

can u give me a site name which generates more than 500 a month.may be a blog(coz mine is a blog
please
thanks in advance

I was credited the 100$ although the other one didn't even get his bank account approved.

I wouldn't expect it immediately. I finally got my first $100 referral this month. I was pretty shocked even though I have had a ton of signups. I hope it is a good sign. :)

$100 in 15 days is at most novice and decent for effort. It depends on the traffic driven and the amount of "good content" on your page. If users land on your page and find it useful or educating to their needs, they WILL click else where. The key is to integrate the adsense with your content. The viewer has to have an ease of flow through your site. We use pop-unders, and a number of things to drive traffic to the site. Last month the site made a little over 3,000.00 on adsense alone and it wasn't live till the 12th of October. Its alla bout whats on your site. SEO and adwords are great..but there are other ways.

its not only your content, there is a loophole to every perfect system in the world.there are sites which earn thousands without quality content.an there are sites which earn nothing with quality content.
I think (this is a beginners view)its about improvisation.improvising your site with new methods.for example many say blending ads to the layout of site .who knows may be a study in tomorrow will reveal that peopl are more tend to click highlighted ads which stand out.
Seo s are a good way to earn traffic .but for small scalers SEO is an everest.

From the AdSense TOS:

You shall not promote or facilitate a Referral Event by any means other than displaying a Referral Button on the Site, unless expressly authorized in writing by Google (including by electronic mail).

Preeti, I may be wrong, but it sounds to me as though you advised/suggested that a friend or friends of yours should click the button on your site to sign up for AdSense. Which would be to 'promote or facilitate a Referral Event'.

I really hope you or your friend did not then make similar mistakes in getting to what is for a beginner quite an impressive total in a short time. Or that you did not click any ads on your friends site. And nor did any of the others who signed up via your button. See how there could quickly start to be connections between people? Chances are that Google would see it too and everyone connected would be at risk of being banned.

I am not saying any of this happened - just pointing out that you really do need to be careful and to be very familiar with the TOS and in compliance with it.

tks for message.actually i havent suggested her.but she was reading my site often and was interested in adsense so she started it from my site.and regarding the clicks i never clicked on her ads and she never clicked mine.infact i came to know about this 100$ credit only after she joined it.so i gave her tips to improve traffic.i think google wont mind that.wat do u think.?i think i can give publicity to my site in the way i want.the site is mine,. only the ads are from google.the ads part i am not telling anybody to click on google ads ,..but i think i have all the rights to tell the people to go to my site.
