Colored Ad Backgrounds

am I allowed to match them to the site page?

I have light green site pages and I am unable to find an ad background that looks good with it. Am I allowed to customize the ad background to match the page color? And if I can, how do I figure out the right color number? Thanks for the help.

Yes you can. In fact, google encourages you to blend ads into your content. As for the color, you can use firefox's colorzilla extension, I've been using it for a long time and it is wonderful.

Easy. First you need a method of finding out the color number of your page's background. I use EclipsePallette which is free and I'm sure there are others available. Then just type the color number in the appropriate box on the color pallette page.

Thank you for the help. My WYSIWYG just has three different numbers for the colors levels. I'll try these others. THanks again.
