Viewing U.S. Ads While Traveling

Is there a simple way to view the ads people are seeing in the U.S. while traveling abroad? I realize I could fool around with working through a computer stateside, but I'm wondering is there's a simple way to convince the browser that I'm actually located in the US myself.

Use the Google Adsense Preview tool that works in Internet Explorer while you're viewing a page.

To see what US ads appear when you do a Google search, just append &gl=us to the end of the search URL.
