I need some feedback on the following situation:
there are a number of links pointing to some of my websites and I've found out that the owner of the links had a Google Adsense account that's been cancelled. I don't know the reasons, if they played dirty or not. Can this situation be considered as bad neighbourhood for my websites? Should I ask them to remove immediately the links pointing to my sites. What's your opinion on this kind of situations? Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any info would be of great help. Thanks.

I would have thought that the AdSense team would be best qualified to answer your question.
I wouldn't have thought that it could hurt however you never know.
If this is true then I will create a website & try to get banned from google and then point link to my competitor website.
People have way to much time on they're hands if they have even time to think about doing the above? Your time imo will be better spent working on quality websites that will make money and not working on something that is 1) wrong and 2) a waste of time.
Whilst I can't imagine that just a link from a "banned site" would be a problem, any association between yourself and the person who was banned may be!
How did you get the link - are you connected or related to the owner of the banned site in some way. If there is a connection that Google trace then you could faind yourself banned - not because of the link, but because you are deemed to be associated with a person who is banned.
If it's not too late, I would recommend doing what you can to sever any connections you may have with the person concerned.
