In one of the "stats are slow today" threads about a month or two ago, someone posted a set of instructions to force the AdSense Report to update its cache.

Ibeleive it involved selecting a reprot period with a nonsensical (e.g. future) date.

Does anyone know where to find this thread? (I've used the search facility but cannot remember enough about it to distinguish it from all the other stats are slow threads.

Thanks.
PS Just for the record, my stats are currently about average for a Sunday afternoon in the UK during the football season.

Yes stats, allways seem to be about everage during the football season.

Just go to your advanced reports and choose a date range that is unbeknownst to us all and you will see your stats updated.

PS
Couldn't find the thread either.

Does this mean that cricket is more popular than football since I earn less during the summer?

I always select "all time" earnings to try and force the stats, sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it won't, however it doesn't half make me feel good whem I see the total:-)))

Yeah - good feeling that.
I once nearly gave myself a heart attack though when I left my AdWords report on monthly total!

The actual method suggested provided a guaranteed method to updating stats to the latest minute - it involved getting a report from "today" to a different date in the future each time.

Excellent! Beats deleting cookies or checking 'all time' and hoping.
