Will adding Adsense Adds screw up my site

Hi everyone....
I'm thinking of adding adsense adds to the top of my site, that is pulling the # 1 spot in google and yahoo for a few keywords i targeted. Does anyone know if this could screw up my optimization? Or negatively impact the search results in anyway? (ie. Yahoo, bumps my site down...)

No All my income from adsense comes from ranking well on G and I do very well.

Neither does it have any negative effect whatsoever with Yahoo rankings.

If you are worried about having the adsense code so high up on the page - you put the adsense code at the end of the page and use absolute positioning to display it at the top.
