My account appears to have stopped updating a few hours ago, is it just me?

Mine is clicking right along.

It must just be you. :)

Rats - seems to have slowed to a crawl about 7/8pm PST and stayed there.

Ads are still on the site just fine, when I login I see the same stale information.

The page views are 4-5K behind reality at the moment so I'm expecting a massive click dump at some point.

I noticed that here last three days the statistic is very slow between 9 and 15:00 and catching up very fast just within one hour later in the evening. It looks like adsense caches info and process it later.

"Here" - it is in Sweden, time mentioned above is CET (centarl european)

Still stuck - report rolled over at midnight and says 15 impressions, 0 clicks, when it should be about 6K impressions already. It's stuck.

Pengi-

I didn't think anyone but Khensu knew the words to the chant. Did he pass them on to you?

I believe I have them written down somewhere - gone but not forgotten.

Hey it certainly works for me this week - I have 25% more clicks this week than I had last week.

I can only hope it's a stats stuck problem. Thursday, eCPM was down about 40% from this months average and after a very good week, Thursday was awful. Last week Thursday was a record day for me, so this is just another example of how you can't count on anything as in certain days are great and some aren't.

I just checked Fridays stats for the first time and they are where Thursdays stats were this time yesterday, so not sure if stuck, or if my stats just suck! ;)

I saw slow motion movement, a couple of impressions and 1 click, wow.

I'm assuming the server I'm on is messed up, a least it's moving, but there better be a big click dump when I get home as it's easily 3-4 hundred clicks behind.

One click, sheesh.

Whew, I figured it out, wasn't AdSense at all.

A programming glitch in my website was only showing the site to people with an existing session, anyone trying to start a new session got an error message. Since I had an existing session on the site yesterday mine hadn't expired so I never saw the problem.

Sigh...

Still better than an AdSense mystery ;)

Great Thread Bill.

There is always someone, somewhere who has the problem, even if the problem never existed ;)

incrediBILL-

That's too bad... I hate situations caused by my own hand!

A week ago my sites were "off-the-air" for almost 18 hours because of a foolish DNS record mistake I had hastily made then dashed off to do something else.

After recovering you always spend too much time figuring out how much you cost yourself!

IncrediBIL, I bet you were cursing Google upside down too :-)

Surprisingly I wasn't because if it was THEIR fault, a huge click dump was coming.

Because if was MY fault, about $300 in the crapper in that short period and nobody to curse but myself.

The upside is that I changed the methods I use to test new changes on my site to include testing both existing and new sessions to avoid this in the future.

This must have been the week for 'dumb webmaster mistakes'.

I could not understand why the traffic had dropped so drastically on my middle site...checking stats not site.

Then after 3 days of worry I visited my own site (heh, instead of WW) and the index page wouldn't load! Bottom bar said done but nothing was there. No 404 as the poor thing thought it was loaded.
:(

anyway, I quick opened it up for edit and found some minor changes I had made over the weekend Somehow resulted in a major mess up of my header tags.....teach me to take that extra moment to recheck the pages I 'fix'. :)

So that makes 3 people who snafued their own sites this week...so far. :)
