Clicking on Links Ads

Some times to check the ads underany keywords I clicks the link ads on my page and see whats ads it is showing. I do not click on ads which displayes. Is this wrong?

Hi, your problem seems to be worse than me. Stay away of it. I even dont ever move my mouse to the Ads.

I do hope that this will not get you banned.

I am not taking about the ads itself. I am talking about links unit i.e.

Ads By Google Data Management Data Mining etc etc.

What you are doing is ok.

Clicking on the link units should be OK so long as you don't then click on any of the subsequent Ads.

Personally though, I try to avoid clicking on anything on my site. I don't even visit if I can help it.

Same here. I only use the admin interface where ads are replaced by colored boxes.
For a site with low visits each visit by my own would distort the statistics (and eCPM).

However I didn't see a single MFA in my (small) niche yet, so I don't need to check often anyway.

I think Google have all datas necessary to avoid own cliks - I am using static IP and I have allowed cookies - Google must see, if the click was from me.

Sometimes I want to see the target of the ads - because I am writing content of topic, for which are the ads related. Once I have buyed the service, which was promoted via Adsense on my site. In most cases I am using to read and write the URL of bid. But I have done cca. 15 invalid clicks on my site. I am using mouse with additional function on wheel-press. If I press down the wheel, I can roll down the webpage by moving my mouse. But if I press the wheel over some link ( or ads :( ), the target of the link open on a new tab.

This is the function, which I want to see in Adsense as soon as possible.
