If Site Font is Larger than AdSense Font - Will CTR Decrease?

I'm about to switch to a larger and easier to read font on my site. It makes AdSense ads look a lot smaller than my previous font and I worry that my CTR will go down.

Do you know of any study about this problem? Can it be true that larger easier to read fonts will decrease one's CTR?

Thanks!

I wasn't aware that youc could change the font size of an ad....if ou are changing the adsene code in any way this is a breach of TOS - so be wary! If on the otherhand there is an option of changing the font size legitimately, and the new size blends with your site and page, I wouldn't have thought it would cause any problems.

I was talking about the font of my site content, sorry if I didn't explained more clearly...

Maybe a clear and large site font makes people focus a lot more on the content and less on the ads? :) This was my question..

How are you specifying font size?

Ideally you should be using the CSS terms like 'normal' or 'large', so that visitors can use their browser to adjust font size to suit them. It's not good to specify font sizes using units like pixels or centimetres, because this stops the users changing font sizes.

If you specify a font size of normal, and you still think that the body text looks too small, then try the next size up. If you're worried that this makes it easy for visitors' eyes to glide past the ads, then make the navigation text on your page roughly the same size as that in the ads, so that visitors at least look at the ads to see what they do. If the ads aren't relevant to them, they won't click on them, but at least they'll have looked.

Same size font (content and ads) makes visitors more likely to pay attention to your ads. Just don't push the envelope to make them think ads are your site links.
