Earning $2 per day from adsense site

How easy is it to get $2 per day from an adsense site?

I am thinking about creating a simple 5 page site with 30 incoming reciprocal links. Then putting adsense on it at the top, in a prime area.

Would this be enough to get $2 per day or do you need to do a lot more than that?

Your goal is set too low, methinks. In some more profitable niche, one single click ad can give you a couple of bucks. <snip>

Well, I don't know about setting goals low. When I read something like this or with a similar topic such as:

"what keyword pays the most"
"How much can I make with X visitors"
"What do I need to make $X"

I think that the person really wants to make 30 sites instead of one specially talking about 5 page sites. Not that there is anything wrong with that IMHO. Others might think differently.

I don't think these type of sites have a big future with Google SE.

Personally, I think this advice from Brett Tabke is as sound today as it was two years ago.

I don't understand that TOC. What it effectively says is this:

Site A has the same content as Site B. It depends on the *motive* behind the sites as to whether you are breaking the TOC or not.

So I can simply say, I created the site for the articles but then decided to put adsense on it afterwards.

Adsense revenue never impacted the content I published on my sites. I advocate creating sites to help people learn about important educational topics. Why else would anyone create a site about mesothelioma? Surely it is not becuase of the high PPC bids. :)

I think this definition is to prevent the TYPE of site, not the intent of the site. In other words, it's OK to create a site if you're planning on using Adsense to fund it but *not* OK if you create a site that gives users nothing to click on but Adsense ads.

Wouldn't hurt much to try eitherunless it's difficult to update (not dynamic, etc).

Your income will vary highly depending on your sites topic and language. We're monitoring several sites with adsense and the difference in income can not be explained by differences in impressions and ctr.
